Barb Jandric Named President of Edina Realty



Edina, Minn.—Feb. 1, 2011 – Barb Jandric, who has served as general sales manager of Edina Realty since 2006, was recently named president of the brokerage. As president, Jandric will lead Edina Realty’s day-to-day operations, overseeing the management team to ensure that the brokerage remains innovative in a competitive marketplace. Jandric will continue under Bob Peltier, president and CEO of the Edina Realty Home Services family of companies, which includes Edina Realty, Edina Realty Title and Edina Realty Mortgage.

Jandric’s new title more accurately reflects the leadership role she has played for the brokerage over the last five years as general sales manager, according to Bob Peltier. “Barb’s guidance to the brokerage during one of the most difficult times in real estate has been instrumental to our continued market leadership,” Peltier said. “She’s my go-to person.”

Edina Realty continues to hold on to its position as the number one seller of homes in its markets for the 11th consecutive year. “I’m certain that our REALTORS® are among the most knowledgeable and hardworking people in this business right now,” Barb Jandric said. “And it’s our intention to continue giving them the tools and information they need to stay on top.”

Jandric began her career with Edina Realty in 1983 as sales manager of the company’s Highland Park office. In 1987, she added another office to her responsibilities and in 1990 was promoted to regional manager of Edina Realty’s largest region. She was made general sales manager in January 2006. Prior to joining Edina Realty, Jandric managed Coldwell Banker Burnet Realty’s Highland Park and downtown offices from 1976 to 1983. Jandric earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Minnesota.

A Certified Residential Broker (CRB), Jandric has served in various capacities on both the St. Paul and Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS®, including as past director of the St. Paul Area Association of REALTORS® and as a member of the Grievance, Education and Future Projects Committees.
