Edina, Minn.—Feb. 3, 2011 – Edina Realty is launching its 2011 ad campaign this week. As always, the campaign is geared toward buyers and sellers who want to work with an expert who knows their neighborhood.
The ads feature simple statements that boast of the firm’s longstanding reputation, as well as the expertise of its agents, that are all backed by market data. For example, one ad states: “More listings. More sold signs. More deliriously happy clients,” which is backed up by the fact that Edina Realty leads the market in the number of listings. Another ad states: “Market Leader for over 11 years. We’re not bragging, we’re just saying,” which is substantiated by the fact that Edina Realty has a 21.53 percent market share*, and has led the regional market for 11 years running.
“This year’s campaign is meant to draw attention – in a fun and iconic way - to our agents’ relentless pursuit to produce results for their clients,” said Barb Jandric, Edina Realty president. “The message is that our agents mean business and are intensely passionate about what they do. We know that a strong, personal connection with an agent they know and trust is important; as is an agent with vast industry experience who has the power of technology behind them. Our agents have made Edina Realty the market leader year after year. And with a network that’s over 2,300 strong, that means we can provide expertise in every neighborhood,” Jandric said.
This year’s ad campaign will include a total of 16 outdoor billboards launching on Jan. 31 and running through the end of May. Billboards will be located throughout the Twin Cities as well as the main corridors leading out of the metro area.
Beginning in February and running through the end of the year, Edina Realty will sponsor WCCO television’s new morning real estate segments airing Wednesdays at 6 a.m. In addition to sponsoring this television segment, edinarealty.com will become the property search engine on wcco.com.
Website banners will appear on the highest trafficked news and information sites: startribune.com, twincities.com, WCCO.com, Kare11.com (including its mobile site) and the yahoo.com network. These banners are property search banners that allow consumers to start viewing properties from whatever site they might be visiting and entice them to see more photos and properties on the Edina Realty website.
This year’s ad campaign was created by FAME, a Minneapolis-based brand marketing agency best known for its transaction-driving work for clients like Time Warner Cable and SUPERVALUE. “Given the market conditions, we recognized the need to speak to both the agents and consumers,” said Amy Kromminga, FAME Director of Client Services. “So we created a concept that enables Edina Realty to take credit for the impressive stats they continue to chalk up despite the sagging economy.
