My parents lived the American Dream. My family emigrated from Laos in 1980. They eventually found work at McGlynn's bakery and were union bakers and were able to save money to buy their first home in Brooklyn Park in 1989. Later, I was a union floorcoverer and was able to save and buy my first home for my family of 5 in my fourth year as an apprentice. I firsthand understand how important and beneficial owning a home can be. As such, I began my career in real estate to help others in their journey to create a financial legacy for their families too.
