Brad Wadsten Named “Emmy” Award Winner

Edina, Minn. - Dec. 12, 2019 – Brad Wadsten, a REALTOR^® in Edina Realty's Brainerd sales office, was honored with the Edina Realty Emma L. Rovick Memorial Award, or "Emmy," on Dec. 11 at a special luncheon for the award winners.

Established to honor company founder Emma Rovick, the "Emmy" Award is given annually to two people: One employee and one real estate agent who exemplify Edina Realty's core values of honesty, integrity and commitment.

Brad joined Edina Realty in 2003 and is currently an agent in the Brainerd office. Over the years Brad has been an excellent student of the business. He has grown personally in his business, included his son Matt on their team and consistently earns the level of Chairman’s Circle, Edina Realty’s highest sales award.

In addition to his commitment to customer service, Wadsten is also a good steward of his community. He’s invested time and resources with the Brainerd High School Construction and Trades program and is a mentor and contributor to the Brainerd High School Warriors FIRST Robotics team. He is the former treasurer of the Greater Lakes Association of REALTORS® and is the incoming president. Additionally, he serves on the Northstar Regional MLS agent advisory committee.

Wadsten’s nomination read, in part: “Brad represents the core values of the company and is a great ambassador for the Edina Realty brand. He is a great sounding board and resource for regional knowledge when I’ve had clients searching in the Brainerd lakes area. Brad is extremely professional, thoughtful, respectful of others, involved, forward thinking and a great team player! Each year, Edina Realty agents and employees nominate their colleagues for the Emmy Award, and out of 40 nominees this year, one agent and one employee were selected.
