Pequot Lakes

Pequot Lakes is surrounded by pristine lakes and towering pine forests and offers a downtown stopping point on the Paul Bunyan bike trail that stretches from Brainerd to Bemidji. Just a few minutes to the east is the City of Breezy Point that is anchor by it's namesake the Historic Breezy Point Resort. Crosslake Area

Like many of northern Minnesota communities, the City of Crosslake grew around the logging industry. The original dam built in 1884 created the reservoir and what we know as the Whitefish Chain of 14 lakes. Today, boaters and sportsman have more than 14,000 acres of water to enjoy and recreate on. The City of Crosslake is the hub for all the necessities and with the many restaurants and shopping, host events throughout the year.

Crosby-Ironton-Deerwood

Just east of Brainerd are the communities of Crosby-Ironton and Deerwood. When iron ore was discovered in 1895 the Cuyuna Range opened and produced ore from 1910-1980. With local and state support these abandon mines have become home to the Cuyuna State Recreation area featuring more than 70 miles of World Class Mountain biking and mine lake that are home to a variety of freshwater fishing as well as some of the best freshwater diving in the world. Crosby-Ironton and surrounding communities of Deerwood and Bay Lake are thriving and offer great opportunities for visitors and residents alike.
