Minneapolis is a great place to live - just ask the people who live there.
In 2012, over 1,300 Minneapolis citizens were asked to fill out the 2012 Minneapolis Resident Survey, which asks residents how satisfied they are with the city's quality of life and government services. The survey results were recently released and overall, Minneapolis citizens have great things to say about living in Minnesota’s largest city.
Of the respondents, 96 percent said they were satisfied with the overall quality of city services in Minneapolis; 79% said they were “very satisfied.” Of the services rated, residents rated fire protection and emergency services the highest at 98 percent. Sewer services, parks and recreation and animal control programs were also ranked highly.
As the Minneapolis housing market continues to boom, those relocating to the area should consider buying a downtown Minneapolis condo. 89 percent of citizens feel safe or very safe in downtown Minneapolis, making our state’s most populous district a great place to buy a home with an urban feel.
